Sean Queenan – Marketing Manager
This month, I had the privilege of attending the British Franchise Association (BFA) ‘Mastering Marketing Seminar,’ hosted at the impressive Sky Studios in Isleworth. The event brought together some of the leading figures in the franchising world, and it was an incredibly informative day packed with valuable insights.
The seminar was a fantastic opportunity to hear firsthand from successful franchises and top marketing agencies about their
journeys and strategies. Presentations covered a wide range of topics, from foundational marketing principles to the latest
trends shaping the industry. It was particularly interesting to see how different companies, regardless of their size or sector, are
adapting to the fast-paced digital landscape.
As you might expect, a significant portion of the day was dedicated to the hot topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its
future impact on marketing. We explored how AI is already revolutionizing everything from content creation to customer
analytics, and we discussed the potential for it to reshape search technology as we know it. The consensus was clear: while AI
offers immense opportunities for efficiency and personalization, the human element of creativity, strategy, and brand building
remains paramount.
Beyond the formal presentations, one of the most rewarding aspects of the seminar was the chance to connect with fellow
marketers in the UK franchise sector. Hearing about their unique challenges and innovative solutions provided a fresh perspective on how modern businesses are navigating an increasingly complex market. It was a great reminder that while technology is a powerful tool, collaboration and shared knowledge are what truly drive success.
