1. Mark the location of the entry point and angle of the Fast Flex on timber.
2. If required pre drill using a pilot drill of specified size to aid penetration.
3. Install the Fast Flex by using the Fast Flex power support tool in a hammer drill.
4. Number of fixings per joint and minimum penetration into timber will depend upon the loading required.
5. Make good at the surface of all holes and leave ready for any decoration.
A. 8 mm Fast Flex fixings are to be used.
B. A 5 or 6 mm pilot drill is to be used in hard timber.
C. Where a specific loading is required a test unit can be used to measure the pull outs
achievable at various depths of penetration.
