1. Cut the slot for reinforcement down to the springing line of the arch.
2. Drill 12 mm clearance holes, depending upon material, in line with the slot for the top and bottom Bar Flex (1 & 4). The holes should be angled upwards and downwards from the line of the reinforcing to give an angle of about 30° between them.
3. Drill 14 mm clearance holes, depending upon material, outwards from the slot for the central Bar Flex (2 & 3). The holes should be angled left and right to give an angle of about 30° between the line of the hole and the line of the reinforcing (60° between the holes).
4. Vacuum out holes and thoroughly flush with water
5. Attach Cem Flex nozzle to Bond Flex gun kit
6. Mix Bond Flex and load into the Bond Flex gun kit and pump the Bond Flex to the outlet of nozzle
7. Insert the nozzle to the full depth of the drilled hole and pump Bond Flex to fill the hole, keeping pressure on the gun to ensure that all voids are filled with grout.
8. Bend the Bar Flex to correct shape and insert the end of the Bar Flex into the full depth of the Bond Flex-filled hole
9. Install remainder of Bar Flex around arch as in BF·15
A. Depth of holes to be 450 mm.
