1. Rake out or cut slots into horizontal mortar joint
2. Vacuum out the slots and thoroughly flush with water
3. Using the Bond Flex gun kit insert a bead of Bond Flex into the back of the slot
4. Push the Bar Flex into the Bond Flex to obtain good coverage
5. Insert a bead of Bond Flex over the exposed Bar Flex
6. Iron the Bond Flex into the slot using the finger trowel
7. Point up or fill the joint and leave ready for any decoration
A. Depth of slot to be 25 to 35 mm.
B. Normal vertical spacing is 450 mm (6 brick courses)
C. Bar Flex to extend a minimum of 500 mm each side of the crack
D. Where a crack is within 300 mm of the end of a wall, the Bar Flex is to be continued for at least 500 mm around the corner and be fixed into the adjoining wall
